North Star Lake Resort is located in the Chippewa National Forest. We offer 19 deluxe 1-5 bedroom cabins with decks, grills, micros & A/C. Two swimming pools. The lodge has a snack bar & grill for those fast foods & snacks. We have a natural sandy beach with a large sun deck, bonfires, water trampolines, climbing mountain, Kayaks, paddle boats, pontoons, boats & motors. North Star Lake Resort is located on North Star Lake just 30 miles north of Grand Rapids, MN on the Edge of the Wilderness Scenic Byway it is the perfect place to relax amidst the beauty and solitude of northern Minnesota's great wilderness. Each of our 19 deluxe cabins offer amenities like modern kitchens, full bathrooms, and decks from which you can enjoy the view. All cabins have been renovated with your comfort in mind all have air-conditioning. Great Minnesota fishing can be found on North Star Lake. The lake is a well-known muskie lake but also boasts a healthy population of walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie and perch. North Star Lake is clean and clear so our guests enjoy swimming, water-skiing, paddle boating, and other water activities. They especially appreciate our safe, sandy beach complete with water toys. When not swimming in the lake, guests enjoy a refreshing swim in our heated swimming pool and kids wading pool. Our centrally located pool also has a great sun deck for soaking up the sun.
The lodge is a natural gathering place and houses the game room and "Snack Shop" and kids also love our well-equipped playground area with playhouse!

WINTER is for snowmobiling! With trails that come right to the lodge! No trailering your sleds. Check our winter rates!
