Northrup King Building

About

The Northrup King Building is home to over 350 tenants, including artist studios and galleries, creative small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

As one of the most substantial cultural hubs in the country, both in terms of its physical size and the number of cultural producers that it houses, tens of thousands of people pass through NKB's doors each year to engage with artists and purchase their art.

The revived art complex continues to be renowned as an extraordinary and affordable hub for artists and innovators who have contributed much to the culture of Northeast Minneapolis and beyond.

Artists are an independent lot and set their own hours of operation, but once in a while we can agree on a time and place to open the doors and showcase our amazing talents to the public! Please see our events page or follow us on Instagram to learn about our open studio events, upcoming artist events, and special exhibitions. Dates

The Northrup King Building is primarily a working artist building. That means that the building does not set regular hours. Each artist sets their own hours when they are open to the public.
