This historic area was recognized as a community treasure long before it became a state park. Visitors enjoy the old flour mill and log cabin as well as the clean swimming beach, spacious picnic grounds, campgrounds and 7 mi of woodland/prairie hiking. The sliding hill, 4 mi of groomed cross-country ski trails, and the 1.5 miles of snowmobile trails open up winter recreational opportunities. A warming shelter is available in the winter that serves as a picnic shelter in the summer.
Dates
Park permits: $35 annual, $26 second vehicle, $12 handicapped, or $7 daily. Camping fees are separate.Book an online reservation 24 hours a day.
