Located within town are an historic inn and hotel suites with fully equipped kitchens. Choose to camp? Our 10-site city campground with full water, sewer, and electric hookups is located on the bike trail next to our playground and pavilion. Reserve all 10 spots and the pavilion for family reunions.

Peterson encourages outdoor enthusiasts to relax in our parks or along the trail, and enjoy the bluffs, river, and sounds of nature. Benches are provided for your enjoyment! The Root River valley is home to hundreds of bird varieties, so bring your binoculars!
