This is a full-time summer resort. It was built as an old logging camp from the 1940's. It originally had at least 8 cabins and we are now home to 5 cabins, 15 RV spots, our family home, general store, fish cleaning hut and a huge kid-friendly playground. Our family lives here on the property and outdoor play spaces are shared. We are a family and pet friendly resort.

This property is nestled within thirteen wooded acres on Prairie Lake in the Northwoods of Minnesota and offers a secluded natural setting with lots of watersport activities as well as nearby entertainment in downtown Grand Rapids. We are situated on Prairie Lake, fed by the Prairie River, with waters a hue of red water clarity, it spreads across 1,100 acres, 17 miles of shorelines, with a 31-foot maximum depth. Prairie Lake offers abundant pike, panfish, bass and walleye for fishing.

The heart of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is only a 10-minute drive, exactly 5.5 miles from the resort. You will find the gateway to numerous grocery stores, family-friendly restaurants and activities and local entertainment.

Our family resort and RV Park offers 15 seasonal sites with full hook-ups and five lake-front cabins nestled close to shore on our well-maintained, gently sloped grounds. Visualize a combination of country and rustic, with warm, natural wood finishes. All cabins have an open floor plan of the living room, kitchen and dining room. Each cabin is fully toxin-free cleaned, stocked and furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Guests are welcome to use the docks and explore the property. Each cabin comes with its own fire pit, firewood, lawn chairs, picnic tables and charcoal grill. The resort does have WiFi availability. The best connection is outside under the the big internet Cafe' umbrella, located centrally up front at our general store. We have gas, wood, t-shirts, hats, hoodies, ice, candy and ice cream.

Our recreational area offers something for everyone; game room, horseshoes, soccer field, tether ball, yard games, and a playground area for the little tikes, The water is shallow and gradual along our beach front, perfect for small children to splash and build sand castles.

Our marina includes a couple paddle boats, kayaks, canoe, 14' fishing boats, 2017 16' Lund w/25hp that includes tilt, trim and live well, and a 20' Pontoon Boat w/canopy; all available for rent.
