About
A 50,000+ square foot museum housing extensive and very creative exhibits preserving the cultures, ethnicities, industries, businesses, towns, townships, military, schools, church, and family histories. Café with free wi-fi, Antique & Gift shops on site. The museum houses a large model railroad club/project depicting the historic railway system of Pine County. A research library is being established for public research.
Naming the museum's café after the famous Danish Author Hans Christian Andersen's book seems fitting since the museum reclaimed the 50.000 square foot abandoned high school building with the name Hans Christian Andersen School. The café is open daily at 7 AM, offering a full menu and free Wi-Fi to the public. The café also offers banquet room rental for events, reunions and parties.
