About
The Rum River Regional Trail runs through the city of Anoka beginning at Akin Riverside Park and heads north into the Anoka Nature Preserve. It provides approximately 4 miles of paved trails with historical markers along the way.
Bike, hike, and walk year round and follow the paved trail into the Anoka Nature Preserve to then navigate 2+ miles of looping gravel trails. This beautiful preserve includes a small parking lot, nature-inspired playground at the trail head and an open shelter available to rent for small gatherings.
In the winter, the trail in the Anoka Nature Preserve is groomed for cross country skiing.
The Rum River Regional Trail provides connections to the Mississippi River Regional Trail and Central Anoka County Regional Trail within the city of Anoka.
