Rustic Inn Cafe

About

In 1986 Jim & Beth Sullivan purchased The Rustic Inn and so the story begins..

Serving Skillets and Omelette’s for Breakfast, Fresh Lake Superior Fish, Tender Roast Beef with Homemade Mashed Potatoes & Gravy for Lunch; as well as Burgers and of course Fresh Lake Superior Fish and Homemade Pies the business grew rapidly.

A Gift Shop was added by acquiring the Naturalists home From Gooseberry Falls State Park. Soon after, we discovered that we had to move due to highway construction; So we picked up our buildings and moved them! 3 blocks to exact. At that time we added another dining room and additional retail space. time we went year round and added a snowmobile trail for our winter guests.

Our restaurant is truly a family affair with our children and our grandchildren often seen.

Recently, Jim has stepped out to let our son David take a more active role with Beth; and so a new chapter begins.

We are committed to fresh ingredients, great family experiences and awesome pies. Whether you are stopping for breakfast, having lunch in between tourist spots or celebrating with a nice dinner and cocktails, we hope you make The Rustic Inn Cafe your destination.
