We are located in the heart of the Solana State Forest on the Soo Line Trail just miles east of Mille Lacs Lake. We have miles of groomed trails for walking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, or cross country skiing. Our trails hook up with miles of state forest trails. There are many nearby trails for snowmobiling or ATVing. On the main grounds, we have a meditative Labyrinth, sauna, rose garden, a small petting zoo with horses, and a screened in Gazebo for late night summer evenings. A frog pond fills the spring days and nights with a cacophony of amphibian melodies. The Pliny wildlife management area and the Roughed Grouse and Woodcock Habitat area are nearby. A beaver pond and a wooded island also make the list of natural areas to explore. We have seven unique cottages to choose from which range from smaller two person cabins with wall to wall pine with spiral staircases to a house with a full size kitchen and Jacuzzi tub. All of the places are equipped with cozy fireplaces for the colder months, air conditioning for the warmer seasons, and screened in porches. All are equipped with the basic necessities for living. There is also an Octagon shaped building with a large vaulted gathering space with a library for many different occasions.
