Veronen’s Resort is a family owned and operated establishment located on beautiful Bad Medicine Lake near Ponsford, Minnesota in Becker County. A seasonal resort open during summertime between May and September.

30 total campsites, 9 of which are available for nightly camping. The nightly campgrounds are open for the season starting “Fishing Opener” weekend, typically the second week of May and are closed no later than October 1st. The nightly campgrounds are located towards the rear of the resort, a short walk from the lakefront. We can accommodate RV and tent campers. All campsites have a water hook-up and electric hook-up for RV’s, generators, electronics, etc.

A shower house and toilets for both men and women. There is also a central wood pile that is stocked with wood to chop to make campfires at your campsite.

Veronen’s Resort has 6 cabins available to rent. Cabins are available to rent on a weekly basis and are rented from Saturday to Saturday. When weekends are available it’s a three day minimum to rent. Cabins are open for rental from Memorial Day weekend (start of summer) through Labor Day weekend (end of summer). However, you may call for availability for cabins after Labor Day. Typically, the cabins are closed for the winter starting no later than October 1st.

All of the cabins are spread out across the lakefront at varying distances from the shoreline. They all have running water, electricity and common necessities (pots, pans, dishes, kitchen, refrigerator, etc.). There are docks near the cabins for boat tie-up and small jon boat rentals available. Please note: There are no televisions or internet in the cabins.
