Way of the Wilderness is a full service outfitter providing complete and partial outfitting with the finest in equipment. Other services include a Cafe serving 3 meals everyday, tow service, deluxe bunkhouses, showers, trading post, friendly competent advice and free parking for our guests.Way of the Wilderness is owned and operated by Bud and Mark Darling. Bud has over 50 years of experience planning and leading canoe trips. Mark was raised and lives all year on the Gunflint Trail. Bud and Mark have backgrounds in service to people and in canoeing that few can equal.
