The 18-hole "Wildflower" course at the Fair Hills Resort facility near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota features 7,000 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating ranges from 74.6 - 72.0 and it has a slope ranging from 133 to 124 on blue grass. Wildflower golf course first opened in 1993.

Open prairie lands and oak lined fairways make Wildflower a course that is aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to play. Designed by Joel Goldstrand, one of the most highly regarded golf course architects in the Midwest, the course's distinctive "Prairie Links" design is unique in Minnesota.

Built in the tradition of seaside golf in Scotland, Wildflower captures the spirit of this land where tall grass prairies and rolling hills meet the lakes and woods of Northwest Minnesota. With over 90 feet in elevation changes and beautiful Pelican Lake in the background, there is no shortage of spectacular views.

Dates

Wildflower Golf Course opens during the first of April and closes sometime in mid-October. Tee times vary throughout the summer because of the daylight hours and morning golf course maintenance schedules.
