Dance Nights at Union Depot

Ready to get your groove on? Join us this summer for Depot Dance Nights! Union Depot is excited to be hosting free dance nights in the Waiting Room. Each dance night will feature a different dance style and will begin with 30 minutes of free professional dance instruction followed by two hours of dancing to a live band.
Depot Dance Nights are free to attend and will feature live music by many of the Twin Cities’ most popular dance bands, offering great entertainment! Dance lessons will be taught at all 3 events by professional instructor, Denny Hukriede.

Tower Days

Annual City Celebration: Parade on Thursday starting oat 6:30pm. Saturday Bingo , beer garden and food, live music by Distilled and Stone Daisy. Fireworks Saturday night. Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm Food trucks, lumberjack shows, craft fair, kids games, beer tent, Children's music by Will Hale, music by CHOPs, and Power of Ten at 6:00pm

Three Sisters Garden Planting

Join us in our annual garden planting!

Visitors will have the opportunity to work in a historically accurate three sisters garden (composed of corn, beans, and squash) with reproduction wood, stone, and bone tools.

Interpreters will discuss the archaeology and ethnohistoric background of the early horticultural and agricultural people of the Upper Midwest and Prairies.

This event will be held unless severe or prohibitive weather conditions arise.
