In the Heart of the Beast's mission is to bring people together for the common good through the power of puppet and mask performance. HOBT uses water, flour, newspaper, paint, and unlimited imagination to tell stories that explore the struggles and celebrations of human existence.
Each year, we produce a season of original plays and tour productions; create specially commissioned pageants throughout Minnesota and beyond; and teach puppetry and pageantry through residencies and workshops to youth, students and teachers, and communities.

The Family Association for the Serious Fisherman. Located on the south end of Lake Osakis, we have docks with boat and pontoon rental, a 150' lighted fishing dock. Family friendly, we have a playground for kids. We do short stays, family reunions and group reservations. It has a total of 7 units. The 7 cabins consist of 2, and 3 bedrooms. All have fully furnished kitchens, including toasters, coffee makers and microwave. All have color cable TV and all are air conditioned. Our water front is one of the finest you will find anywhere.
