Central Square is a permanent, municipal, non-profit center. Our building is the original Glenwood High School, a restored, historic landmark now under the care and guidance of Central Square, Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community through the arts and community events.

We believe that the practice of creating art is a meaningful part of the human experience and should be practiced by those of all talents and abilities.

Central Lakes State Trail

A 55-mile, paved rail trail through 3 counties and 10 communities. Beginning in Fergus Falls, the trail ends in Osakis (or vice versa - depending on where you start!). Trail users will enjoy the many differing landscape views, ranging from open prairie in the west to many lakes scattered throughout the area to the forested, rolling hills in the east.

Passes through Dalton, Ashby, Evansville, Brandon, Garfield, Alexandria, Nelson, and Osakis. Connect to Lake Wobegon Trail in Osakis.

Central Lakes Community Center For The Performing Arts

The Central Lakes Community Center for the Performing Arts has a proud tradition of fine and performing arts and is a regional provider of artistic learning opportunities and cultural enrichment through the performance of musical and dramatic arts.

Central Gunflint Cross Country Ski Trail System

The Central Gunflint Ski Trail system is a private network of cross country ski trails, owned and maintained by Golden Eagle Lodge and Bearskin Lodge. Central Gunflint Ski Pass required. Enjoy 70 km of meticulously groomed trails, 63 km of which are also groomed for skate skiing. Mostly intermediate level trails (45%), with 30% advanced, and 25% beginner. Several snowshoe trails are also available from both Golden Eagle Lodge and Bearskin Lodge. Snowshoeing on the ski trails is NOT allowed on the Central Gunflint Ski Trail System.

Centerbrook is located in the north metro suburbs only minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Its fun and challenging 9-hole, Par-3 layout appeals to everyone including beginners, families and pros. The manicured tees, fairways and greens, create an enjoyable round that can be played in 90 minutes or less. Reservations are recommended.

Centerbrook is a great location for a league or to hold family, charity and team building events. Access to online specials and news notifications are available to registered guests. Tee times can be booked online or by phone.

Center Creek Orchard

Center Creek Orchard is a fall family destination that offers hours of fun and entertainment. Festival activities include hay rides, storytelling, corn pile, scarecrow building, Jump Pad, giant maze, apple sling, barrel ride, crawl tunnels, super slide, and haunted forest. Pick your own pumpkins and select fresh local apples from over a dozen Minnesota varieties. Admission is only $9 per person for a day of fall family fun! There is no admission charge to the apple barn and picnic areas. Snack and seasonal foods are available.
