Braemar Golf Course
Braemar Park is 500 acres of rolling hills and scenic lakes surrounded by beautiful, untouched oak ridges. There’s a feeling of seclusion amidst its urban setting, only 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
Because Edina was named by its original Scottish settlers after Edinburgh, and because golf was originally a Scottish game, a Scotch name was deemed appropriate for the park and golf course. The name “Braemar” was chosen to reflect the village and course so named in Scotland.
