Martha Redbone Roots Project

Martha Redbone is a vocalist, songwriter, composer and educator of African American, Cherokee and Choctaw descent. A multi-award-winning musician, the charismatic songstress is celebrated for her tasty gumbo of roots music embodying the folk and mountain blues sounds of her childhood in the Appalachian hills of Kentucky, mixed with the eclectic grit of her teenage years in pre-gentrified Brooklyn.

Marketplace Fair

The entire community of Hopkins turns out on Mainstreet to enjoy food, music and dozens of vendors displaying their crafts. Family oriented activities are available in Central Park, beginning at 4 p.m. 

The Marketplace Fair takes place on Mainstreet between 6th and 13th Avenues and includes: vendors, local business displays, artists with crafts, clothing, art, woodwork, merchandise, food and beverages. There is plenty to do at this event so come early and shop! This event is held rain or shine and is free to the public.

Improv Comedy Show with Little Fish Improv

Come on out for a good deed and a good laugh! Little Fish Improv is performing an improv comedy fundraiser for Paradise Center for the Arts. Little Fish Improv is a local group of actors and comedians looking to bring improv comedy to southern Minnesota while raising money for the PCA. They will be doing family friendly improv for people of all ages.
