The ALS SuperHero Dash is a distance-certified, chip-timed 5k and 10k race starting at Harriet Island Pavilion and trailing along the Mississippi River. This family-friendly event attracts runners, casual walkers, children of all ages, supporters of the ALS community, and SuperHeroes of all sorts. Organizers hope to use everyone's powers in the fight against ALS, and directly benefits The ALS Association in their vision to create a world without ALS across Minnesota and beyond.

Howie Day’s emotionally resonant lyrics and inventive melodies have earned him both critical praise and a legion of devoted fans. He is known for his energetic, heartfelt shows, where he connects with audiences through the strength of his songwriting and his quirky sense of humor. One of the finest organ trios working today is becoming one of the longest-running. The trio, which has now been together for over 30 years, has been recognized for charting new ground with its synergistic playing and thoughtful music. They have over a dozen recordings, all of which display their distinctive sound, whether exploring the depths of jazz standards or playing their original compositions.
