Join us in the warmth of the Historic Fort Snelling Visitor Center this winter for a complimentary cup of coffee and discussion for our Lifelong Learner Coffee Chats. This series will take place once a month on Thursdays from 10:30-11:15 AM and will cover the following topics:

January 25, 2024: Prisoner of War Camps in Minnesota

  • Learn about the little-known history of the system of prisoner of war camps in Minnesota during WWII.  

February 15, 2024: How and Why Fort Snelling was Built

I Honestly Love You - A Tribute to Olivia Newton-John & Anne Murray

This show features all the hits with the beautiful harmonies everyone loves. It honors their original arrangements and is performed by accomplished singers and musicians who love being a part of many CDT shows. Jana Anderson (River - The Music of Carole King, Joni Mitchell & Carly Simon), Lisa Keith Bernard and Tara Brueske are joined by Minnesota’s favorite and most-respected musicians in an amazing 11-piece band.
