This century-old Craftsman-style home has hardwood floors and woodwork throughout An open staircase descends into the Inglenook room where you can often find a blazing fire in the winter. The front porch and gardens are perfect for morning coffee, afternoon tea, or an evening glass of wine to watch the lake birdlife or sunset. The king suites are spacious and well-appointed. Easy access to all of the Metro.
The Como Lake Bed & Breakfast is a 5-star rated Inn that sits on the crest of a hill overlooking historic Como Lake. It is three miles from downtown St. Paul and nine from Minneapolis. Its location in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood close to bus lines and a convenient 20-minute drive from the airport affords our guests convenience coupled with peace and privacy. Street parking is right out front.
The three-story Craftsman residence was built in 1915 by Elav Ericsson and fully restored by the Innkeeper, Carla Sherman in 2010. There are two guest rooms on the second floor and the entire third floor forms another suite perfect for a romantic getaway weekend.

The Como Lake Bed & Breakfast resident pup is Lenny (AKA "The Prince of Como Lake"). He's a lovable miniature Schnauzer. When he's not attending to his regular duties as pet ambassador, he works as hotel security. We allow guests to bring pets only at the discretion of the Innkeeper. There is a charge of $35 per night per pet.
