Lake of the Woods County Historical Society

Lake of the Woods County Historical Society was formed in 1965 out of interest of local residents. In 1978, they were able to begin construction on a permanent museum. The doors first opened in 1980. Since then they have expanded twice and added an annex which houses larger farming equipment.
