Lake Byllesby Campground

Sleep under the stars and wake up in the wild of Dakota County’s great outdoors. Camp along the shores of Lake Byllesby in the beautiful Cannon River Valley. Just minutes south of the Twin Cities, Lake Byllesby campground is perfect for a quick get-away or a week-long family vacation.

The campground features on-site caretakers, playground and boat launch. Near hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, tubing, golf, the Cannon Valley Trail, and antique and craft shops.

Lake Bronson State Park

Located in the transition zone between the prairie land of the Red River Valley and the aspen parkland to the east, this park offers a diversity of wildlife habitat. Climb the historic tower for a view of the area. Water recreation is very popular. 14 miles of hiking, 3 miles of snowmobiling; boat, kayak and canoe rental. We offer 157 drive-in campsites, 35 w/electricity. Hike-in and canoe-in campsites are now available.

Lake Breeze Motel Resort

Family Orientated resort nestled in a quiet north woods setting with an unobstructed view of lake superior just ten minutes north of downtown on North Shore Scenic Drive. Pool, mini golf, volleyball, horseshoes, badminton and more. Campfires and play ground.

Lake Benton Resort

We currently have 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units with full kitchens, dining table and living-TV areas. Our kitchens are furnished with the basics so if you have a favorite pot/pan/dishes please feel free to bring them with you. We also have purchased new lighting units, box spring and mattress sets for our queen and full beds along with new pillows and comforters in each of the rooms. Again, please feel free to bring your favorite blanket and pillows. You will also want to bring your own toiletries as the rooms are only furnished with small hand soaps.

Lake Benton Opera House

Built in 1896. Saved from the wrecking ball by dedicated volunteers. Restoration initiated in 1970 and continues. Now the home of numerous dramatic and musical productions. Call for individual shows and times.

Lake Benton Chamber of Commerce

Lake Benton is located in a scenic valley on the edge of Lake Benton (the lake). The town is located on the Buffalo Ridge (some of the highest land in Minnesota). There are over 450 wind towers on the Ridge. The city limits encompass 2,300 acres, making Lake Benton geographically the largest of the county’s five cities.

Lake Bemidji State Park

Located on the north end of Lake Bemidji, this popular state park offers sunsets over the water along with strolls under the pines, spring flowers and fall colors in the maple forest, and a unique bogwalk that winds into the mysterious world of a spruce-tamarack bog with its rare orchids and insect-eating plants. A sandy beach, hiking and biking trails, boat, canoe, and kayak rental, children’s playground, volleyball court, and year-round naturalist programs attract all ages.

Lagoon Park Campground

Lagoon Park has ten campsites, eight with water and electrical hookups, and provides modern bathroom and shower facilities. Availability is on a "first come/first served" basis.
