Minnesota Firefighters Museum

Features over 12,000 sq. ft. of historic items from Minnesota fire departments dating back to the 1860's, banquet and meeting facilities, hands-on, try-on, and climb-on activities for children plus a ride on a real fire truck. A Thief River Falls steam pumper, a 1919 Mankato aerial ladder, a 1932 Minneapolis FWD engine and other historic firefighting apparatus and equipment. We also feature a Minneapolis Police Museum section. Weekday group tours available by appointment.

Finn Creek Open Air Museum

Activities include a children's and antique tractor pull, a
sawmill powered by a steam tractor, a threshing machine and tours of an original 1900 home, log barns, an 1890 country school, a town hall, a gift shop with many Finnish imported items and a chapel for weddings or church services. Craft sales and entertainment acts plus Finnish foods and refreshments. Camping facilities complete with showers & RV hookups available. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Welcome!!

Finland Mn Historical Society Heritage Site

A multi building heritage site including a blacksmith shop, school, homestead, museum, and sauna depicting the early Finnish settlement lifestyle of Finland, MN area. Gift shop and grounds open to the public all summer. Come visit us in mid-August for the Tori Music Festival and marketplace for a celebration of local crafts, food and music.

Finland Campground and Day-Use Area

The campground is adjacent to the public landing. The campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. All sites are on a first come, first served basis for a fee.
Highlights: Finland offers 39 drive-in campsites spread out along the Baptism River and tucked into the woods.
