Bear Lake Campground and Day-Use Area

Located in George Washington State Forest, managed by Scenic State Park. The 29 campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Bear Lake campground and Day Use Area is on a walleye and crappie lake with water access, swimming, dock, fishing, four picnic sites, and a picnic shelter at the day use area.

Bear Head Lake State Park

Experience the beauty of the North at this secluded park on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Listen quietly for the call of the loon, or cast a line in these outstanding fishing waters. 17 mi hiking trails; 9 mi cross-country ski, 1 mi snowmobile trail. Ski trail runs through rugged wilderness with deer, bear, and moose. Maps along trail. Ski pass required. Ski passes sold at park office.

We offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cabin rentals, an RV park, on-site cafe all with beautiful sunset views right on Mille Lacs lake. Fishing launch and guide services are available as well as Ice Fishing services including fish house rentals. We are located across the street from a city park and have a private swimming beach. There is a private dock and lake access as well. Top rated ATV and snowmobile trails just down the street. Within walking distance you will have shops, restaurants/bars and churches. Within a few to several miles you have multiple golf courses, 2 state parks and a casino.

Beachland Cottages

A traditional family resort with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. We are like resorts used to be but just a little nicer. We are on the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail, less than two miles from Nisswa. Lake Hubert offers great fishing for large and smallmouth bass, crappies, northerns and sunfish. Most cottages have private docks with a small boat provided. Motor rental is available.

BB's Pizzaria

Serving pizza, sandwiches, salads and more. Dough and other ingredients freshly prepared daily. Gluten-free pizzas and kids menu available as well.

BayView Lodge on Lake Vermillion

A visit to Lake Vermilion isn't complete without stopping by BayView for some of our fantastic food or a cocktail. Come by boat or by car.
