Star Power 2020, one of the premiere high school show choir events in the Midwest, will be held at Waconia High School on Saturday, Feb. 15. Last year’s annual competition featured performances by more than 20 choirs hailing from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

Lined with old-growth pine, great sandstone bluffs, and sand beaches, the St. Croix is a National Scenic Riverway. As you paddle down this beautiful river, keep an eye out for soaring eagles, great blue herons, white-tailed deer, and soft-shelled turtles. Camp on the river banks or islands in Eureka Outfitter tents as you work your way downriver. With its proximity to the Twin Cities, the St. Croix River canoe trip is a perfect weekend getaway for first-timers and seasoned paddlers!

The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon starts in western
Wisconsin and ends in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. This diverse course
includes scenic tree-lined roads, picturesque farms, the beautiful Loop Trail
between Minnesota and Wisconsin and crosses the St. Croix Crossing bridge. Runners
love this fully paved course finishing at the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge
in downtown Stillwater. The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon is soon to be a classic
event.
