Hear how activists improved the lives of workers in the mills and related industries and how management responded by creating anti-union policies and groups like Citizens' Alliance.
Stone Arch Bridge Festival returns to the west side of the Mississippi River. The festival grounds will span the riverfront area on W. River Parkway from 11th Ave S to N. 4th Avenue.
The Stone Arch Bridge is committed to providing a platform for artists to sell their work, and the community to gather safely. More than 200 artists and culinary artists will participate with a broad spectrum of artistic mediums.

The Stillwater Log Run becomes the Inaugural Log Run Half
Marathon in 2024 – adding a half marathon distance and converting the 12K to a
10K distance while bringing the finish line back into downtown Stillwater for
the first time since 2015. The rest remains the same - a superb, mostly
downhill race gently descending into historic Stillwater, Minnesota. It's been
known as one of the fastest courses around.
Minnesota's Oldest Community Celebration, 2020 will be the 159th annual festival. Musical entertainment under the "Big Tent" features Old Time and Polka bands from across the United States and Germany. Other events include, men and women softball tournaments, fireman's challenge, sheephead card tournament, kids carnival, Hammer Schlaggen, and many other events. Enjoy a "Stiftunsfest" hamburger, as well as other ethnic food.
History and science come together in a day of family activities focusing on the role of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in the past and present of the Minneapolis riverfront. Hands-on programs designed for all ages.
