Ramsey Park

At 219 acres in size, Ramsey Park is the largest municipal park in the State of Minnesota. Termed as the "Little Yellowstone of Minnesota", the park is enhanced by 1930's Civilian Conservation Corps shelters and bridges and picturesque Ramsey Falls. The park serves as a focal point for community events, festivals and summer activities and features campground facilities, shelter houses, four miles of paved hiking trails, a DNR trout stream, scenic overlooks, and a zoo.

Alexander Ramsey House

Through special events and programming visitors can immerse themselves in life from the 1870s. The home was built by Alexander Ramsey, Minnesota's first territorial governor.

Alexander Faribault House

This 1852 home was built by Alexander Faribault, founder of Faribault, Minnesota. It is on its original location. Owned by the Rice County Historical Society it includes artifacts from the Faribault Family as well as other period-appropriate artifacts from the local area.

Alborn-Pengilly Railroad Trail

This 39-mile trail follows an abandoned railroad grade in northeastern Minnesota. Traveling through wooded bogs and upland forests, riders cross old railroad trestles that offer scenic views of the streams and rivers below. The flat grade trail is ideal for beginners.
