A great family event sponsored by the Friend's of LeDuc and Historic Hastings, proceeds support free school tours. Bake sale, plants for your garden, Simmons shed flea market, make and take projects for children, a rhubarb toss game, as well as a story time by the chicken coop at 10:30 am. The LeDuc house will be open for tours from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Sacred Heart Area Historical Society will exhibit in the Heritage Building at the fairgrounds in Bird Island. The focus will follow the county historical society's fair theme.
Join our naturalists as we venture onto Lake Vermilion for a pontoon boat ride. While on the ride we will search for wildlife, learn some history of the lake, and conduct a variety of water quality experiments to determine the lake's health. Space is limited, so registration is required. Call the park at 218-300-7000 to register for this program. Participants will want to bring sunscreen, water and snacks and dress appropriately for being on the water. The program will be canceled if there is inclement weather.
