Pierz Freedom Fest

Four great country bands will be performing! Much more than a music festival, Pierz Freedom Fest is committed to giving back to the Pierz and the surrounding communities! Headliner: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

General Admission Tickets are available online now! General Admission is $40 per ticket until July 1st, then they will increase to $50.00. Tickets include entry into the event. Tickets are available online (Will Call Only) or at the gate.

Picnic at Vicksburg Park

Tour, food and fun & games at Vicksburg Park, Renville County Park 2. The event starts with a tour of Vicksburg and the Minnesota River. Lunch provided with Thrivent funds at 11:30 a.m. Music and smores by campfire. Bring your lawn chair and lawn blanket. If raining, meet at the Sacred Heart Area Museum.

Photography Hike

Join us to learn some tips and tricks about nature photography as we hike and explore the Wildlife Drive. If you choose, bring a camera or phone. No minimum experience or equipment necessary.
This hike is led by members of the Sherburne Photography Club.

Perham Lakes Area Rib Cook-Off

The Rib Cook-Off will held in downtown Perham at 2nd Ave SE in the Service Food Parking Lot. Come try all the different rib offerings sure to please! This is a rain or shine event.
Ribs served starting at 5pm while supplies last.

Peregrine Falcons on the North Shore

Meet Jackie Fallon of the Midwest Peregrine Society and two live falcons to learn more about these amazing birds. Fallon has worked on peregrine research in Minnesota for nearly 30 years and has many stories to share and information about protecting these animals.

Takács-Nagy and The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra for a stunning season finale. Alban
Berg’s Violin Concerto, performed by Concertmaster Steven Copes, invites the
listener to feel love, loss and hope, being dedicated “to the memory of an
angel.” Then, prepare to be drawn in by the power and vivacity of Ludwig van Beethoven’s
Eroica Symphony — an epic close to our 65th season.
