Including 2 dimensional art of nature (no landscapes).

Opening on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Hallberg Center for the Arts, in Wyoming, MN. The show will be on display through March 14th.

Illumination

During Illumination, you will see the museum you love in a whole new way — with the lights dimmed and large-scale interactive art installations. Illumination festivities will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays only through December 28 and are included in your general museum admission. Embrace Nigerian and African culture at this fun free and family friendly celebration! Taste authentic African dishes and browse authentic African crafts while you watch entertaining dances, including masquerade dances! Don't miss the Ada Igbo competition and the King and his procession event! And enter to win prizes in the raffle drawing.

Ice Tee Open 2020 - Moonlite Bay

Join us at the 18th Annual ICE TEE OPEN! Enjoy two nine hole courses on the ice of Moonlite Bay in Crosslake.

Put your foursome together or come alone and we will put you with a group. Bring your own golf club, we will furnish the ball. The event includes a silent auction and tons of door prizes. There are also prizes for the most original costumes It's fun for the whole family.
Proceeds benefit Camp Knutson.

Ice Bocce Tournament

Hot competition on a cold February Saturday! Ice bocce is a fun combination of bowling, bocce ball and shuffleboard. Lanes are plowed right on the ice behind the Longville Fire Hall. Food and beverage available. Great spectator sport, too! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th places, plus best team costume and best team name!

I'd Love to Turn You On - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is widely considered the greatest rock album of all time. It changed the way people listened to music, defined a generation and has an emotional staying power that never gets old. As the only band to perform it start to finish in the region, and one of the few to do so from anywhere across the country, the performance of this unforgettable album by the local collective known as the Shabby Road Orchestra has the looks of becoming an annual tradition. Past shows have all sold out.

I Dig Peter, Paul & Mary - A Tribute

These national and international recording/performing artists come together to perform the iconic music of Peter, Paul and Mary. They’ll be singin’ “Blowin In The Wind,” “Follow Me,” “The Wedding Song,” “Where Have All The Flowers Gone,” “If I Had a Hammer,” “Day Is Done,” “I Dig Rock and Roll Music” as well as their Top Ten Hits such as “Puff The Magic Dragon,” “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” and “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Michael recorded his first demo in the ’70s at Paul Stookey’s S. Blue Hill, Maine ‘chicken coop’ studio and he’ll share a few hidden gems!

I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar

Join us for an evening celebrating some of the greatest women singers and songwriters ever! With Lori Dokken at the piano and an all-girl rhythm section, Twin Cities’ vocalists Judi Vinar, Debbie Duncan, Patty Peterson and Rachel Holder Hennig turn the Fireside Theatre into a celebration of some of the matriarchs of music. Sit back and enjoy the vibrant vocal harmonies these girls put to tunes made famous by such divas as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, Carole King, Tina Turner, Judy Garland, Christina Aguilera and many more.
