Art & Craft Festival

The 38th Annual Art & Craft Festival will fill the downtown streets with over 150 artisans. This annual event has been attracting thousands of people over the years to see quality, unique, only handmade items. Enjoy exploring all the artisan treasures, sampling tasty treats from food trucks and restaurants, and shopping at the local boutiques all while enjoying the beauty of nearby Buffalo Lake. 

Art & Craft Affair

The Art & Craft Affair in downtown Battle Lake was launched in 1977 by the Art of the Lakes Association. Annually, this event draws nearly 5,000 visitors and is held on the 2nd Saturday of August at Railroad Park, located at MN Hwy 78 and County Rd 83 in Battle Lake.
The mission of the Art & Craft Affair is to offer display vendors an opportunity to market creative, handmade, original arts and crafts, and to offer fair goers, of all ages and economic status, an opportunity to enjoy the event and discover items of interest for purchase.

Arrowhead Ultra 135 Race

The Arrowhead 135 is recognized in the book "The World's Toughest Endurance Challenges" by Richard Hoad and Paul Moore as one of the 50 toughest races in the world. It is a human powered Ultra Marathon taking place in the coldest part of winter in the coldest city in the lower 48 states. Our average finish rate is less than 50%, the finish rate for new racers is much lower. 2014 finish rate was 35%.

Beginnings – The Ultimate Chicago Tribute Band – is a tightly woven structure of musical talent that brings to life the original and glorious melodies of Chicago.

From Transit Authority’s “Beginnings” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” to “25 Or 6 to 4” and “Saturday in the Park” – their giant hits remain. Additional tunes such as “You’re the Inspiration”, “Call On Me” and “Old Days” all bring to the forefront the beauty, the light and the shade of Chicago’s music.
