In this hilarious, fast-paced comedy, the in habitants of one of the smallest trailer parks in Texas are thrown for a loop when they realize the nearby town of Tugaloo is determined to annex them. The rollicking mayhem of this flat-out funny comedy escalates as the residents attempt to secede from Texas. Piano Virtuoso Gareth Cordery returns to Bemidji with a special program of English Piano music following his studies at Oxford. The BSO will play Edward Elgar's epic Enigma Variations in their entirety.

Abstract Prints by Hagiwara Hideo

Originally a painter trained in oil, Hagiwara Hideo (1913–2007) became ill with tuberculosis and turned to printmaking in 1954. From the start his prints were of an abstract nature, and for 50 years he was a constant innovator in his choice of motifs, style, and technique. This first major U.S. retrospective exhibition of Hagiwara's work showcases his enormous versatility.
