Landmark Live: Amy LaVere

Landmark Center presents “Landmark Live” in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium. Presented with support from Minnesota Music Coalition, KFAI Radio, and the Pioneer Press these concerts begin at 7:30 pm and are preceded by a cocktail hour at 6:45 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy complimentary refreshments and a cash bar.

Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door. Tickets include admission to the cocktail hour from 6:45-7:30 pm.

Lake Superior 20/20 Studio & Art Tour

This years 12th annual Lake Superior Studio & Art Tour will be on September 22-Friday 10-6, September 23-Saturday 10-6, and September 24-Sunday 10-5. Located between Duluth and Silver Cliff are 16 host sites including four local sustainable farms selling their products and hosting artists. 39 artists will offer their newest work and studios are open for visitors to tour, along with a number of pop-up artists. Back roads, fall colors, and many hidden treasures await our welcomed visitors.

Into Nature Plein Air Exhibition

WBCA is inviting you to explore the world of outdoor painting with the Into Nature Plein Air Exhibition. Plein air paintings are often done quickly, given the ever-changing nature of the natural world with light and shadows that morph in an instant. Being immersed in nature and capturing these fleeting moments is what draws so many artists to the practice of plein air. View award winners and selected artwork from the Into Nature Plein Air Competition, on display this September.

The Incredibles Drive-in Movie at Union Depot

Come to the last drive-in movie of the summer at Union Depot! While trying to lead a quiet suburban life, a family of undercover superheroes are forced into action to save the world.
Gates open at 6:30 PM and the movie starts at 8:30 PM! Tickets are $15 per car - you do not need to purchase individual tickets per person.
Concessions will be on-site with delicious treats for purchase. Other activities include photo ops, in-car photo contest and quiz for a prize basket + fun surprises!

iLuminate

Join us for this 3rd annual race to paddle, bike, and run your way through a fun course in beautiful Lake City, Minnesota.

This family friendly triathlon offers three different ways to register (sign up by 7/15 to guarantee a race shirt):
 
1. Registrants can sign up as an individual and complete all three legs of the race; OR

2. Registrants can sign up as two person team – paddle together in a kayak or canoe and then complete the last two legs individually (participants would share the same paddle time); OR

Come join us as we kick off Legends and Logging Days in downtown Park Rapids with Water Wars followed by music by The Whips at 2nd Street Stage. Come watch as teams battle it out to see who will take home the Loony Traveling Trophy.
