Our Late Autumn Featured Artists span everyday utilitarian pieces to wall sculptures, and everything in between. Chen’s work reflects on human society through a humorous looking glass embodying absurd aesthetics. Denecke focuses on the communication of different forms, creating objects that may evoke memories or instill a meditative state. Velasquez fell in love with ceramics “because the material is so ancient and so human”. His goal is to use art to give back to, and inspire, diverse communities.

Doors open at 10 with a variety of delicious food and creative cocktails, the excitement begins with a show at 11 and another at 2! You won't want to miss this in-person event that promises to be full of fun, laughter, and unexpected encounters.

Wishes & More Winter Ball – Dazzled by the Decades!

The Winter Ball is our primary annual fundraising event and an inspirational evening where you will see our mission in action first-hand! You'll also enjoy having the opportunity to meet a few of our wish kids and their families as they share the impact of our wishes, scholarship and memorials from their own experience. This is not a run-of-the-mill gala full of back-to-back speeches and videos - our goal is to have the focus be on our kids and their stories of hope, joy and wishes fulfilled.

Westwood Hills Nature Center Annual Halloween Party

Join Westwood Hills Nature Center for their annual, family-friendly fall tradition! Come in costumes and enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Play carnival-style games and trick-or-treat with friendly animal characters on Mother Nature’s Trail. Round out the evening with a puppet show and refreshments. Music by DJ Bob.

This event is being held on both Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 to allow more people to attend. When registering, you must select the one night you wish to attend.
