Larry Carlton

Larry Carlton is an all-time guitar great. He has won four Grammy Awards among an incredible nineteen nominations. Carlton established himself from his first recording, 1968’s A Little Help From My Friends. His studio credits include Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, Sammy Davis Jr., Herb Alpert, Quincy Jones, Bobby Bland, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and literally dozens of others. Furthermore, he went on to perform with the Crusaders and then with the multi-platinum jazz super group Fourplay.

John Hiatt

A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. Hiatt has garnered nine Grammy nominations, and has written some of the most enduring and timeless songs in the last half-century of country and pop.

JazzMN Orchestra Presents: Delfeayo Marsalis

Since its inception, the JazzMN Orchestra has presented over eighty concerts in its main series. Additionally, they present performances at festivals around the Twin Cities. The music performed by the JazzMN Orchestra spans from the beginnings of jazz to contemporary works by today’s composers.
