Thumbs Up and FastTrackerMN are excited to invite you to Ready, Set, Thrive, a FUN and FREE event for all ages in Blaine, Minnesota this August. This event is open to community members of all ages, no RSVP is required. We will have activities for all ages, local vendors, and access to the beautiful Aquatore Park. About the film

Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution is the first feature length documentary to explore the history of queer stand up comedy. The documentary considers the importance of LGBTQ+ stand up as a driver of social change over the past five decades, actively reflecting and challenging cultural norms and values. Ultimately, the film reveals that queer comedians — whether they intended to or not — helped change the world, one joke at a time.

Prairie Plant Identification Walk

Join local nature conservationist Davis Harder on a plant identification walk.

Davis Harder works in the conservation field and is passionate about the ecology of southwestern Minnesota. Growing up in a part of the state where 90% of the landscape is dominated by row crop agriculture, he recognizes the importance of better understanding the remaining intact natural areas such as those found on Red Rock Ridge. In his free time, Davis likes to botanize, birdwatch, and look for invasive plants.
