Join Annie for an inspiring workshop that helps participants explore their core values and live in alignment with them. Through practical exercises, you'll identify what matters most to you and see how your daily choices reflect those values. This session provides clear guidance for evaluating your decisions and ensuring they match your beliefs. You’ll also leave with conversation starters to keep the values discussion going at work. One Book, One Community: Author Visit Featuring William Kent Krueger

Join Lake Agassiz Regional Library for an author visit by beloved Minnesota author William Kent Krueger. Krueger is the author of the Cork O'Connor mystery series which is set in the north woods of Minnesota, as well as a number of stand-alone novels including Ordinary Grace, This Tender Land, and most recently, The River We Remember, which is the selected title of this year's One Book, One Community Fargo Moorhead West Fargo program.

F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent horror classic Nosferatu paired with Radiohead’s groundbreaking albums Kid A (2000) & Amnesiac (2001).

Silents Synced pairs classic silent movies with epic rock music and was created by an independent cinema owner for independent cinemas!

Musical Stories - Christmas with Caritas

Rochester Chamber Music Society is presenting a Christmas program on Saturday, December 7, 7:30 pm at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester. The program features Caritas Vocal Ensemble exploring classic Christmas themes of joy, wonder, and mystery with an eclectic mix of acappella selections. It includes a musical telling of the classic poem Twas the Night before Christmas and a closing singalong in which members of the ensemble will lead the audience in Christmas and holiday favorites.

Murder by the Book

Sugarloaf Theatre and the Friends of the Winona Public Library present Murder by the Book, a play by Laura Teasdale sponsored by mystery author Louise Penny, on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th at 7pm and Sunday, October 27th at 2pm in the Winona Public Library’s Central Exchange Room. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students or seniors and will be available for purchase at the library’s Checkout Desk beginning October 7th.

Lewis’ stories are compiled from first-hand accounts of Minnesotans and include the possible origins of the apparitions he discusses.
