Gangster Tours

The Gangster Tours take you in a limousine to sites of gangster activity in the 1920's and 1930's as you learn about our most notorious history. Hear stories of kidnapping, bank robbery and murder involving such criminals as John Dillinger, Ma Barker, Machine Gun Kelly and Baby Face Nelson. Guess the identity of your tour guide and win one hour of limo service (restrictions apply).

Gandy Dancer Trail

This 30-mile trail along an abandoned railroad grade begins in Danbury, Wis., and travels north through Minnesota before looping back east. Connections to OHV trails in St. Croix and Nemadji state forests, along with a wide variety of landscapes and terrain, make this trail a popular destination.

Gammelgården Museum of Scandia

Step back in history at Gammelgarden Museum and glimpse into the daily lives of the Swedish immigrants in the only open-air museum devoted to Swedish Immigration in the United States. Visit the oldest Lutheran church building in Minnesota (1856); Prast Hus, the first parsonage (1868); Immigrant Hus (1855); Stuga (1930); Barn (1879); Valkommen Hus (Visitor Center); and Scandia Butik (Gift Shop).

Games Lake County Park

Welcome to Kandiyohi County! A convenient place to vacation and enjoy the many fresh-water lakes where boating, fishing, and camping can be enjoyed at any of our six county parks.

Games Lake County Park (formerly County Park #7) located on the east shore of Games Lake, is part of the “Norway chain of lakes,” four lakes totaling 2,800 acres, and provides an excellent fish population. Located 14 miles north of Willmar on County Road 5, and has 52 paved sites with electricity.

Galles' Upper Cullen Resort

Gallery of Wood Art/American Association of Woodturners

Hard to describe but fun to visit, this is one of Saint Paul's hidden treasures. The Gallery of Wood Art offers four to six shows each year by leading contemporary wood artists, but it is more than gallery: a vintage lathe collection, historic pieces, and a gift store featuring regional artists add to the experience.

Gallery North

A non-profit cooperative art gallery under the sponsorship of the Northern Artists Association. Located in downtown Bemidji, in the same building as Ink Spot Press and open from 10am to 5pm Mon. through Sat. Art on display and for sale includes paintings, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, porcelain, rosemaling, baskets, and drawings. On the First Friday of every month, the public is invited to observe and visit the Gallery's featured artist and community showcase artist.

Gallery 5004

Gallery 5004 is an event-based art gallery, located just off Main Street in the heart of Robbinsdale. Co-founders and long-time friends Anne and Tim Bechtold and Amy and Steve Isaacson have been avid art collectors for many years and want to share their passion. The gallery offers a diverse selection of prominent Minnesota artists from the past, as well as many current and emerging area artists.

Gale Woods Farm

Located on picturesque Whaletail Lake in Minnetrista, Gale Woods is a 410-acre park that features a working educational farm. The farm provides opportunities for visitors of all ages to enjoy experiences that enhance their understanding of agriculture, food production and land stewardship.
