Veterans Memorial Park Dedication

Veterans Memorial Park, located in Alexandria, Minnesota, will honor veterans of all branches of the United States Armed Forces, living or deceased, going back to the 19th century.

Renovation and repurposing of the City of Alexandria’s Legion Park will create a beautiful landmark where all visitors can enjoy a peaceful area of contemplation and repose. The Veterans Memorial Park will be a place of reflection and healing, and a source of inspiration for those preparing to serve.

Valentines Dinner at Winehaven!

Make Valentine’s Day extra special this year with an amazing dinner and dueling piano show at Winehaven! Grab your sweetheart and your favorite song requests for a night of food and fun at the winery! The doors open at 6:30 and dinner starts at 7:00 pm. The fun, Hawaiian luau-themed menu includes whole roast pork or turkey along with baked beans, pineapple cole slaw and fresh fruit. Enjoy lemon bars and macadamia nut cookies for dessert!

Valentine's Tea

On Saturday, February 8th, at 3:30 p.m., the LeDuc Historic Estate will celebrate its annual Valentine's tea. This is a 3-course tea featuring sandwiches, scones and due to the occasion, chocolates paired with one of three teas. The event will also include an interpretive program on china and teapots, their production and care, as well as readings by costumed reenactors. A tour of the house will be included after the final course.

Valentine's Downton Abbey Dinner

Set in a European-style estate, this true aristocratic affair is marked by an authentic English dinner at the Outing Lodge! Includes multiple served courses accompanied by elegant live piano music, terrific company, and a roaring fire.

Valentine's Day Clay Workshops

Roses are red, violets are blue, our pots are hot, and so are you! We’ve got you covered this Valentine’s Day with a weekend full of clay workshop opportunities. Register early for this popular pottery experience. You will cover the basics of throwing pots on the wheel and enjoy a small meal from a local restaurant, and some yummy deserts. Novices and experienced potters are welcome. All materials are included. Students can expect to make 3 – 5 pots and decorate them using colored slips and textures.

USXC Snowmobile Race - Park Rapids Heartland 200

USXC is a snowmobile cross-country racing circuit that travels through many locations and terrains across the Midwest. This is the only woods race in the 6-8 event circuit. The goal of USXC is to continue the tradition of racer-friendly events at many classic cross-country venues. Giving drivers, crews and fans the best possible experience.
