Twin Cities Spring Babies Festival

Say hello to spring at the Twins Cities Spring Babies Festival in Brooklyn Park! Kids and families are invited to spend an afternoon among some of the cutest baby animals, including goats, ducklings, chicks and bunnies. Bowls of food are available to feed the animals, and trained handlers are ready to help you hold them. In addition to the spring babies, kids can play in a corn seed pit, enjoy inflatables and the giant slide, hayrides and a straw bale maze. Fair foods and drinks will be available, too.

Twin Cities Pride Festival & Parade

The 52nd annual Twin Cities Pride Festival will be held at Loring Park and Parade Park in Minneapolis June 29 – 30, 2024 and will feature local BIPOC and LGBTQ+ vendors, food courts, a beer garden, and music stages.NEW THIS YEAR: All ages are welcome in the Beer Gardens. Guests must be 21+ to purchase alcohol. $5 I.D. check wristband is required to purchase alcohol.

Five hundred years ago, the Islamic world ruled much of North Africa, Persia, and Eastern Europe. Protestant Christian England, newly estranged from Catholic Europe, forged lucrative trade, diplomatic, and cultural relations with these Muslim global powers. By the late 1500s, few prosperous English homes lacked a Turkey carpet, silks, ceramics, or tapestries. These goods, as well as domestically produced versions of them, later found their way into English daily life.
