Appleton Golf Club

Beautiful 9 hole golf course situated along the Pomme de Terre River in Appleton! Tuesday is men's night and Wednesday is ladies' night. There is also food and drinks available in the clubhouse! 

Appleton Municipal Campground

Includes a building with men's & women's showers/bathrooms, a building for cleaning fish & fowl, a sewer dump station, water accessibility and a few electrical hookups. Campground is located next to the Pomme de Terre River. Take the bike trail and you will go through a park with kids' play sets. The City also has an outdoor swimming pool. And located approximately one mile out of the City limits, going east on MN Hwy 59, are the Swift County recreational parks for ATV/OHM/ORV.

Appleton Area OHV Park

10 miles of 4x4 Truck Trails, 15 miles of ATV/OHM Trails, 2.5 mile OHM Practice track, 3 enduro track, Youth ATV training course, Youth OHV practice track available. The Park features: Shelter/ Picnic Area, Hiking, Cross Country Skiing, Off-Road Motorcycle, Groomed Snowmobile Trails, Motorcycle Trails, Enduro Trail, Jumps, Sand Dunes, and Other OHV Activities.

Appleton Area Chamber of Commerce

Appleton is the home of Southwestern Minnesota's First OHV Recreation Area. Appleton is located right next to the Lac Qui Parle Game Refuge and Marsh Lake. Great area for all your outdoor activities.
