Glewwe Suffrage Memorial Luncheon

The Glewwe Suffrage Memorial Luncheon will celebrate and honor the 90 women from South St. Paul that became the first in the country to vote after passage of the 19th Amendment. It also recognizes the amazing work done by local historian, Lois Glewwe, to help preserve and share this important history.

All proceeds from this event will go toward the future maintenance of the Lois Glewwe Suffrage Memorial located across the street in Lawshe Park.

Drop-in Discovery Booths for All Ages

Drop-in between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays, May 2 through Oct. 27, for free family-friendly activities!

Staff and volunteers will facilitate a 5-15 minute activity at the Discovery Booth to explore a specific topic, including plant-related exercises like testing soil, planting a seed or nature journaling. Although geared toward children and families, all are welcome to participate. Each theme will feature two different activities within the month.
