Happy Harry's Hot Valley Nights 2023

Happy Harry’s Hot Valley Nights is back and better than ever! This year's performers include Tracy Lawerence, Dylan Scott, Tigirlily Gold, Drake White & The Big Fire, with local openers, Paint The Town and Matt Aakre & The Dirty Little Secret! Food Trucks, Axe Throwing, Bull Riding, Games, and More! Formerly known as Rockin' Up North, Hot Valley Nights is an annual multi-day country music concert festival that also includes food trucks, beer tasting, axe throwing, bull riding and more!

Halloween Trick-or-Treating

Many local businesses will be participating this year to provide candy for the youngsters. Main Street will be blocked off for the safety of all. The Queens Royalty will also be on hand, make sure you say hi and snap a picture with them!

Parents look for the orange pumpkin signs at participating businesses.

Have fun, eat lots, be safe, brush your teeth before bed!

Halloween Historia

Get ready for some Halloween fun at the Stearns History Museum! Trick or Treat (Peanut Free Event, Gluten Free treats are also available), Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Crafts, Petting Zoo, Hayrides, and more at this non-scary, fun family event.

Halloween Family Fun Event

Halloween fun for the family. With 20+ stations, children are sure to enjoy - dressing up for the Halloween Costume Fashion Show, face painting, a variety of games booths, Scream Contest, treats and more! Hackensack Chainsaw Event

The sound of chainsaws will be reverberating through Hackensack, Minnesota as the Annual Hackensack Chainsaw Event gets underway. The 3-day event, which takes place in Hackensack City Park, features chainsaw carvers from throughout the United States who will turn simple logs into works of art. The crowd can enjoy the progress as the carvers utilize their artistic insight and creativity to make sculptures from the logs.

Habitat Day

Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is hosting its 20th Annual Habitat Day on Saturday, March 21st. The event runs from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and participants can build a wood duck box or a bluebird house. The event is free, open to the public and all ages are welcome. While some cordless drills and bits are available at the refuge, participants are encouraged to bring their own to avoid having to wait. Supplies are limited for the boxes, we ask participants to please be considerate and only build and take what they will use. For more information contact the refuge at 763-389-3323.

H2OH! Art Quilts

Manipulating fabric and fabric-like materials, quilt artists interpret water as one of the most vital, desired, powerful, sacred, and enjoyed resources on earth in H2Oh! Art Quilts. This exhibition features 34 unique pieces created by members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt.

Guytano

Presented by Paramount Center for the Arts – Local Roots Series

Minnesota based Guytano is made up of brothers Grant and Eddie Hamilton along with Isaac Hesse and Colter Benoit. The band first met in 2010 while attending middle school in Sartell, Minnesota where they began covering punk rock songs eventually finding their own synth based pop rock sound behind the songs of the band's Grant Hamilton.
