This annual family-friendly holiday celebration features a parade of lights, terrific live entertainment, delicious food, games and crafts, plus an amazing fireworks display at dusk.

Holiday Tea at Bruentrup Heritage Farm

Cap off your holidays and relax with a five-course tea created by the volunteers of the Maplewood Area Historical Society. The sumptuous food is chosen to highlight this year’s theme of “Celebrating Your Ancestry.” There are two seatings for this tea, at 11:30am and 2:30pm. Guests are invited to bring photos to share of themselves between the ages of 5-21 years. Holiday on Main

Holiday on Main is a unique day of crafts, entertainment, music, sleigh rides, and of course Santa Claus. Come and be a kid again! Historic Downtown Lakeville and Arts Center on Holyoke Avenue.

Holiday Flower Show at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory

The Holiday Flower Show tradition began in 1925 and continues to be the most anticipated and visited flower attraction at the Conservatory today. The Holiday Show will feature Ice Punch Poinsettia along with Kalanchoe Cher, Eucalyptus and Persian Shield. *2019 show description.

Hoghead Festival

Proctor week-long Festival dedicated to its railroad history. Events include a golf & softball tournaments, parade, kids games, food vendors, pet parade, street dance, car show, museum events and fireworks.

Join the Dakota County Historical Society and the South St. Paul Public Library for this history read aloud. The event is for ages 0 - 5, though older children are welcome to attend with their siblings, friends and guardians.

The children's librarian will read aloud the books chosen for this week. Afterward, children will see pictures, newspaper articles, and artifacts of Dakota County's history that relate to the book's theme. Children will also participate in a hands-on activity related to the book's themes.
