You're invited to a beautiful Victorian Holiday party - but be prepared to check your coat, and all sense of tradition, at the door. You have NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO HERE. Join this high-spectacle, glamorously shameless comedy where anything can happen. We're really not supposed to say, but there may be audience participation: a kiss cam? Cake? T-shirt cannons? Jokes ripped from the headlines? (Vikings fans, you have been warned!) Immerse yourself in singing the pop songs you love and have fun laughing at the things we can all relate to.

The sidewalk ends and the Wild West begins at Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo featuring three fan-favorite events - bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and the most extreme sport, bull riding. Twelve contestants will compete for the chance to come back for the final winner-takes-all Ultimate Showdown Round. In addition, some of the nation's fastest cowgirls will compete against the clock in the Women's Barrel Racing competition.
Rhubarb Fun for Everyone! Pies and jams and breads - oh my! Get your taste buds ready to tackle the tangy tartness of every rhubarb delicacy. This festival is sprinkled with tasty morsels for the entire family. There will be games, crafts, music, auctions, stage shows and food. Held at First Lutheran Church, 11th Avenue East and London Road.
Christopher Titus' new show takes the audience on a wild ride through his personal life, and proves why he isn't qualified to be a father, and why childless couples win. Christmas Wonderland Parade of Lights at 7:00 p.m. presented by Merchants Bank, Rushford, Minnesota. Have a night of family fun beginning with a Parade of Lights, followed by visits with Santa, hot chocolate and cider, cookies and seasonal music at the Rushford Fire Hall. Join the Fun! Guides bring visitors through the basement, first and second floors while sharing family stories and memories, including Mrs. Hill's lavish seven-course holiday meal in 1910, how the servants kept their own holiday traditions, and family stories and memories that still resonate today.
Tours run 60 minutes with the last tour time at 3:30 pm.

Dakota City is planning for 2021 to have our regular Christmas In The Village event. Get in the Holiday spirit by stepping back in time to our 1900's rural Minnesota village and experience living history firsthand with costumed interpreters and demonstrations. Listen to the jingling of the bells on the horse-drawn trolley as it transports you along the gravel streets so you can see the Village decorated for a 1900s Victorian Christmas, with trees in all the buildings and lights outside. Feel the crisp winter air on your cheeks, then warm up inside by an inviting wood-burning stove.
