Blues & BBQ Blast at Ruttger's

Two stages. Three Bands. Lots and lots of beer and BBQ!

Simply delicious. The festivities a BBQ Feast by award-winning pitmasters Furlong Smoke and Seafood, AND three blues concerts, including a concert by Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame member Dee Miller and her band! New Feral Cats, and Bruce Archer will also perform.
$25 admission per person gets into all events.

Bluegrass Festival

The Southeast Minnesota Bluegrass Association holds an annual May Bluegrass Festival at Cushon’s Peak Campground between Houston and Rushford! Multiple bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — come for a day or all three days! Reserve a campsite on-site at Cushon’s Peak Campground or stay at nearby motels or bed & breakfasts.

Come on down for a free old-time bluegrass jam session at Gammelgarden
Museum! Bring a banjo, fiddle, guitar, dulcimer, harmonica, mandolin, ukulele,
cello, or bass and learn new tunes!

Play along, or just sit back and listen to old favorites,
played in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to play along, sing, listen, or even
dance!

Lemonade and lawn chairs are provided for this outdoor family-friendly event. (If there's inclement weather, Bluegrass & Lemonade in the Shade will be held indoors in the Valkommen Hus.)

45th Anniversary of the Ely Blueberry Arts Festival

Join us at the 45th Anniversary of the Ely Blueberry Arts Festival featuring Artists, Crafters, Food Court, Beer Tent (Ely Fire Department Fundraiser), and don't forget the Blueberry Pie! Alongside this three-day event in the city park, there are special Blueberry Discounts and Themed events and sales throughout town, so take a peek on your walk through downtown Chapman Street, Sheridan Street, and the Avenues leading to the park!

Blue Earth County Fair

The Blue Earth County Fair features 4-H exhibits, animals, music and entertainment of all kinds, and of course, fair food! Come out and see the Compact Car Race, the Demolition Derby and the Tractor Pull! Enjoy great food and music! The Fair is easy to find and just 15 minutes from Mankato in Garden City.

Blaine Festival

Join us for the 2021 Blaine Festival kicking off Friday, June 25th at Aquatore Park in Blaine with a Flag Raising Ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Check out the Jell-o Derby under the West Pavilion, Coconut Kevin's Beach Party at 7:00 p.m. on the Magician's Stage and under the Big Top - The Johnny Holm Band is on stage at 8:00 p.m. Fun for the whole family all weekend long. Saturday, June 26th the Blaine Festival opens at 10:00 a.m. with Vendor Village, WM Purdy Carnival, Refreshment Garden, Petting Zoo, Magician and much more!
