Bavarian Blast

One of New Ulm's biggest celebrations happens mid-July every year. A German-American music festival, it features all sorts of music, including German-style bands, old-time, rock and country music. Plenty of food and drink options appeal to all tastes. Stein holding contest, sauerkraut eating competition, barrel rolling, souvenir sales, a 5k/10k, Polka Service on Sunday morning, and the Bavarian Blast Parade make this a highlight of travel to Minnesota!

Join us as we search for these "creatures of the night" and learn about their special adaptations and abilities. The evening includes games, songs, and the chance to see the bats begin their nightly search for food.

The Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Battle of the Businesses Bowling Tournament at Northern Aire Lanes, Fergus Falls. Team of 4 adults bowl 3 games: Blackout BINGO, 9-Pin No Tap & Scotch Doubles. Trophies for Top Team & Best Costume

Battle For The Axe 2020

Throw down in the dead of winter for your team's chance to be added to the Axe! A full day of three to four events hosted by CrossFit Grow in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Expect classic CrossFit-style WODs as well as at least one workout out in the elements--those who battle for the axe don't mind the weather! Teams of two--M/M and F/F, both Rx and Scaled Divisions available. And new in 2020, we will be adding a division for Parent/Child!! High skill movements not prioritized--this is a throwdown designed to test limits and make you sweat as well as building community, and having fun!

Bark To The Future Companion Walk

The Tri-County Humane Society’s Annual 5k walk for animals is held the first Saturday after Labor Day in September each year. This event draws hundreds of people and their pets every year. As one of our larger fundraisers, walkers raise a substantial amount of money for the animals in our care! The walk begins at Wilson Park in St. Cloud.

Bandwidth Community Band Festival

Enjoy an afternoon of listening to marches, concert band classics, pop, Broadway, and jazz music performed by some of the top volunteer-based ensembles in Minnesota in one location. In addition to familiar favorites, each of the six ensembles will also perform a world premiere of a piece for concert band.

Admission to the BandWidth Festival is FREE and very family friendly.

Bands & Burgers

Live music outdoors every Thursday in June, July, August, and September. Fresh hamburgers are grilled and served with all the fixings. This is a family and group style event with lots of space to listen and dance.
