Piece of My Heart - A Tribute to the Life & Music of Janis Joplin

See a plethora of talented local musicians from over 8 different bands come together to pay tribute to the music legend Janis Joplin. The show stars vocalist Jill Mikelson, who played Janis Joplin in Ordway Center’s performance of Love, Janis and Jacy Smith, local performer and rock ‘n’ roll/blues singer. Classics like “Me and Bobby McGee,” “Piece of My Heart,” and “Mercedes Benz” come to life once again as they remind us how Janis changed the music scene forever.

Photography & Art at the Rock is a monthly exhibit in the lobby of the Split Rock Lighthouse Visitor Center that showcases landscape and wildlife photographers and artists of the area.

For the month of May, our featured artist is Natalija Walbridge.

Natalija is a fiber artist who works in her home studio on Park Point in Duluth, MN.

PACER Center's annual Benefit featuring Goo Goo Dolls

Goo Goo Dolls will perform at PACER Center's annual Benefit on April 27, 2024 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The evening will also feature live and silent auctions and a mission-focused program. This event will raise funds to support PACER’s programs and advance their mission of improving educational opportunities and enhancing the quality of life for children and young adults with disabilities and their families.
