Lakes Jam

June 26th come for the preparty leading up to the Country and Rock Festival featuring over 30 artists. More than a music festival providing Watercross (snowmobiles on water), Drifting, Mud Trucks, Poker Tournaments, Music Bingo, Bags Tournament and more. Great camping and ATV/UTV/Golf carts are allowed.

Kurt Elling w/Joey Calderazzo

Kurt Elling is a two-time Grammy Award winner who is renowned for a signature, rich sound and an inventive and individualized body of work. The New York Times called Kurt Elling “the standout male jazz vocalist of our time.” The Guardian (UK) pronounced him “a kind of Sinatra with superpowers.” Joey Calderazzo is one of the finest pianists of his generation. He's accompanied the music's geniuses, from Michael Brecker and Branford Marsalis to Jack DeJohnette and Dave Holland.

Judy Collins

Judy Collins has inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. In the 1960s, she evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Her latest, 2022’s Spellbound, marks the first time ever she wrote all the songs on one of her albums.

Indigenous Astronomy

Join us for a fun multi-phase evening as we explore Indigenous astronomy at the Jeffers Petroglyphs.

From 5 - 7 pm, the Bell Museum will offer astronomy-based activities and Jeffers Petroglyphs will offer professional guided tours of Native American rock carvings that relate to astronomy.

At 7 pm, Culture Bearer Steve Tamayo will give a presentation on Native American Star Knowledge.

Weather permitting, the event will culminate with a viewing of the moon with telescopes.

HopeKids 5K/10K + Kids Fun Run

Do you enjoy running? Like supporting local charities? Then this event is perfect for you! JOIN US for the 16th Annual Hope K 5K/10K + Kids Fun Run; a family-friendly event attracting competitive and recreational runners, casual walkers and children of all ages! Run, jog or walk your way in and around the beautiful Spirit of Brandtjen Farm community in Lakeville. Kids can join in too! If you don't participate in the run, you can still bring your friends/family to enjoy all the free activities!

GTCYS Symphony Series Concert

Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies' flagship orchestra hosted second featured concert, including Igor Stravinsky’s Suite from The Firebird, Michael Abels’ Global Warming, and Gabriel Fauré’s Pavane.
