Not Your Mother’s Mahabharata- The Invincible Bhishma

Stories will include The Invincible Bhishma. The Mahabharata is an epic Indian work that encapsulates a great deal of classic Indian Mythology. It is a magnificent story that is constantly being rewritten and retold since its inception thousands of years ago. This show (based on the podcast also done by S.P. Jayaraj) will tell you different tales from the Mahabharata in each performance, using modern colorful language that makes it accessible, memorable, and above all, entertaining.

Jim Stowell “October 25, 1962”

The third performance of Jim’s Stowell’s retrospective of original works is an adaptation of his hit play, CUBA SI! which was produced by the History Theater in St. Paul in 1994. These stories start with a nightmare and end with a dream of hope, retracing Jim’s journey from Montana and the October 1962 Cuban missile crisis when he thought Russia and the United States were about to blow up the world to his finally meeting Fidel Castro face to face.

JazzMN Orchestra presents: John Pizzarelli

Since its inception, the JazzMN Orchestra has presented more than 80 concerts in its main series with dozens of additional performances at jazz and art festivals around the Twin Cities. World-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli has been hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” The Toronto Star pegged him as “the genial genius of the guitar.”

Happy Days Festival

The Happy Days Festival is the City of Ramsey’s annual hometown celebration. This popular event takes place in early September and is located within The COR (North of Highway 10 near the Ramsey Municipal Center). The Ramsey Happy Days Festival hosts a large array of family-friendly activities and events during the day such as, 5k/Youth Fun Run, Business Expo, Car Show, Dog Show, Live Music, Food Trucks, inflatables and obstacle course, Bean Bag Tournament, Parade, and more!

Downtown Minneapolis Street Art Festival

The Downtown Minneapolis Street Art Festival is a free and unique downtown art experience for residents and visitors that celebrates street art in all its forms. The family-friendly festival takes place annually the second weekend in August and features chalk and spray art, murals, performance, craft, food and fun! We hope to see you, your friends and family for this inclusive and joyful experience in the heart of downtown Minneapolis!

Crafting at The Craft Shop

We offer an assortment of fun activities for both adults and kids! Our crafting catalog includes, candle making, paint n sips, paint and snacks with edible canvases, charcuterie board classes, chocolate strawberry covered gift boxes, jewelry making, skin care workshops, DIY home decor projects and more. Plus, we host special events on holidays to keep the celebrations going all year round. We host events every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for now. We hope yo add more dates and time to the schedule

2024 Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities

Join the MN lung cancer community at the 18th annual Lung Run/Walk on August 10th to raise your voice for change! Events details: 5K walk and certified 5K and 10K runs with prizes for best times, Fun Run with medals for kids 5-12, Live music, Activities for young adults, Research and new discoveries update, Lung cancer survivor tent, The rose raft of remembrance ceremony, and most importantly, a chance to remember or honor your loved ones while fighting this terrible disease.
