NLOC presents “A Very Good Christmas Carol”
The premier of this two person version of the classic “Christmas Carol”, will be performed first, immediately after the downtown tree lighting ceremony and then, the following afternoon. Fun for all ages!
This is a free community event open to the public. No tickets are necessary.
Cheryl Larson will instruct her Suncatcher-Making Class on Thursday, November 16th, from 5:30–8:00pm. In this class, attendees will learn the basics of wire wrapping, a useful skill needed for jewelry crafting, and bring home their own beaded suncatcher. When placed in a window, sunlight travels through these unique suncatchers and projects beautiful patterns of rainbow light throughout the room.
Join Twin Cities comic artists Rob Kirby, Blue Delliquanti, and Archie Bongiovanni for a lively discussion about the state of Queer comics in Minnesota today. Hear them speak about their work and what makes comic art a great medium for expressing the many stories and experiences of LGBTQ+ life today.
Join Santa as he visits from the North Pole for a free
evening of skating and holiday music at Central Park!
